The Youth Hostel at Värnamo Folkhögskola
Welcome to a youth hostel situated in Värnamo, a charming small town in the heart of the Småland region with many things on offer. In addition to being a popular place for adults studying on the high-school level, our school also runs an equally popular youth hostel open all year round. 10 rooms are open to our guests all year and an additional 30 during the summer period.
The hostel is located in a calm residential area within walking distance to everything - the town centre with lovely small shops, boutiques and restaurants as well as parks and other green areas. The train- and bus station is also a short walk away.
If you choose to stay with us, you get a room that is close to hotel standard, for a fraction of the cost of a normal hotel room. All rooms are modern with new furniture and newly renovated en-suite bathrooms with shower facilities. You have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a TV-lounge as well as a laundry room. Disabled visitors are more than welcome, our rooms are accessible by wheelchair. Smoking is not allowed indoors and with respect to people with allergies, we cannot accept pets either. Single: 280 SKr
Double: 425 SKr
Family (2 beds + mattress on the floor): 500 SKr.
Bed sheets, etc.:+ 75 SKr . (if you don´t have bed-linen with you)
Cleaning: + 75 SKr
Breakfast + 45 SKr (25 SKr / children up to 12 year
(served Tue-Fri 7.45-8.30 during the winter months and daily 07.30-9.30 during the summer period.)
